Our Pastor
JP Jobe has been a pastor and a teacher in Franklin County since 2010. He is passionate about helping people become everything God has called them to be. JP graduated from Texas A&M University - Commerce with a teaching degree in science and has served the public schools of East Texas from 2006-2018. He has also served the churches where he has lived as a youth pastor, AWANA leader, college and young adult minister, and lead pastor. His desire is to pastor a church where people feel welcome just as they are and are encouraged to follow God in faith.
JP and Julie have been married since 2002 and have 8 children: Hannah, Emily, Chloe, John Philip, Juluia, Eleanor, Maggie, and Adeline. They consider training their children to be one of the highest callings that God has placed on their hearts. Julie homeschools the school-aged children and manages to keep up with all the demands of managing the home as well. Both coming from large families, JP and Julie can't imagine life without a full quiver.
JP and Julie have taken several steps of faith in their journey together, and God has always been faithful. Planting Good Hope Family Fellowship is just another step of faith that God has been orchestrating all along their path. They love to tell the stories of His faithfulness. If you'd like to hear, just ask.
